❤️ Basic Life Support (BLS):
BLS is professional-level, team-based resuscitation training and includes:

- Pulse checks and rapid assessment
- Bag-Valve-Mask (BVM) ventilation
- Two-rescuer / team CPR
- AED use integrated with BLS skills
Important: BLS certification is valid for 1 year and must be renewed as required by your employer, nursing/healthcare program, clinical placement or licensing body.

📜 Certification
- Intermediate First Aid: 3-year Canadian Red Cross certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS): 1-year Canadian Red Cross certification

- 100% attendance and participation
- Successful skills demonstration
- Minimum 75% on the written evaluation

- Duration: 17 hours in class
