Red Cross Blended course instructions

(Only send these steps to your staff once you have sent the info indicated above)

1.  Redeeming an Invitation to the Canadian Red Cross “MyRC” Website:

If you have never logged into the MyRC Website, you will have received an email with an invitation code to join the MYRC website via email from Canadian Red Cross | Croix-Rouge Canadienne my.account@Redcross.ca .  Please open this email to redeem that invitation code. Please check your “Junk” or “Spam” email as it may have been delivered there.

You have two options to redeem your invitation code, either by email address or by social media account (Microsoft, Google, Facebook, LinkdIn).  Whatever option you choose, you will need to continue to log onto the website this way in the future.  I have attached a  document Redeem Inviation_Email Option_Access Certificates_February 2019 which has screenshots and instructions on how to proceed with redeeming this invitation with your email address. You will then have access to your Red Cross account so that you may print these certificates in the future.

2.  Accessing Your Online Course

Once you have logged into the MyRC website https://myrc.redc ross.ca,  you will be able to access the online component by going to “My Profile” and then selecting “My Online Courses”.  You will then be redirected to another website to take your online component.  I have attached a document called Participant View for Blended Learning Online Component so that you can follow this process as it is the same for your online course.

3.  Who to Contact for Assistance
